The apartments

The building that housed the peasants' lodgings has been turned into four comfortable apartments, each one with different features that make it unique, their ancient use being reflected in their names.

"
Le Greppie", (the manger) was once the stable, and the ancient stone manger is still there. "La Colombaia" (the dove house) still has several pigeon-holes in the outside wall. "Le Fornaci" (the kilns) is where the kiln for the household pottery once stood and its circular foundations remain untouched. "La Torre" (the tower) has its entrance in one of the turrets.

The large Renaissance hall in the main building, with its original vaulted ceiling, has also been restored and can be used to host cultural events such as concerts, exhibitions, conferences, and functions of any kind. The library on the second floor, with its large windows, unusual in a medieval building, beamed ceiling and oak staircase is now a reading room and also hosts an Internet point for guests.

All our apartments are self-catering and have their own entrances from the courtyard, fully equipped kitchenettes, gas central heating, working fireplaces and tables and chairs in the garden.
